Premier Doug Ford got his first jab of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at a pharmacy in Etobicoke this morning, and took to social media to document his experience.

"Get vaccinated!" the 56-year-old premier tweeted with links as to where Ontarians 60-plus and 55-plus can go to book their vaccines.

Ford received the shot amid recent controversy surrounding rare adverse side effects of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which Health Canada has deemed safe for those 55 and older.
